- Jason Canton, 45, scored an amazing 80.714% on Supremat OLD at the Global Dressage Festival National 1 Horse Show on Wednesday. Canton achieved this high score in the USEF Training Level Test 2 - Open with only a week's preparation in Florida.

"I just got him out of quarantine last week," said Canton of his stallion. "We bought him at the auction in Vechta, Germany. I was very pleased with him today, it was a good ride."

Supremat is an Oldenburg (Sandro Hit x Feingau x Rubenstein) and is only four-years-old. His credentials include a second place in the Bundeschampionate in the Three-year-old Riding Stallions class. He was also Reserve State Champion of the Three-Year-Old Stallions at the Oldenburg State Championships in Rastede, Germany. Canton is on the move again with his new charge to the Lone Star State.

"We are moving to Texas Monday morning to start working at Shoofly Farm where I will be training," said Canton. "Unfortunately we can't show here again this year, but we'll be back next year!"

Alix Szepesi rode the first test of the day on William scoring 70.517% in the USEF First level Test 1- Open. The Global Dressage Festival National 1 Horse Show ran smoothly with riders and their horses once again proving themselves to judge Marlene Schneider.

Heather Peterson, who serves as a technical delegate for the show has advice for the dressage riders: "More people need to take advantage of this place!"
