I am a dual board-certified sports medicine and physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R) physician, the Clinical Professor of Sports & Spine Medicine at University of Washington, and a lifelong equestrian. I have published research on head and spinal injuries and injury prevention in equestrian sports. I am experienced in national and international sporting event medical coverage, sports concussion, musculoskeletal and spine conditions, sports injury prevention, and care of para-athletes. I competed in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association for Stanford University for four years in college and currently enjoy hunter/jumpers, trails, and dressage.
