Miami native Christy Higman-Clements discovered her love of the Arabian horse at the tender age of 7 went she went to her local stable and started taking lessons and learning all she could. Christy rose the ranks quickly, starting  at local class A shows and rapidly progressing up to taking the main stage at the U.S. Nationals. No discipline was eliminated as she took on English, western, hunt seat, side saddle, and everything in between. All of her passion and hard work paid off as she was winning at the national level by 11. Christy has won countless national championships, reserves and top tens. 

For Christy, life wouldn’t be the same without Arabian horses, and after completing her successful amateur career, she turned professional at 19 and opened her own training facility, which now resides in Ocala, Florida. Since her foray into the professional side of the business, Christy has coached and led many youth and amateur riders into the winner's circle. Arabian horses will always be her first love and passion, and she looks forward to coaching many more riders into the winner's circle. She has been an active Regional and National level judge for more than 15 years.
